Dr. med. Georg Willenig

Dr. Georg Willenig has over 21 years of experience in General Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pulmonology. After completing his MD at the University of Innsbruck in 2001, Dr. Willenig worked at several hospitals across Austria, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases. He currently practices at Bahnhofpl. 4 in Villach, where he provides comprehensive care for patients with lung diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and other pulmonary conditions.

Dr. Willenig has been actively involved in research focused on the treatment of pulmonary diseases, particularly COPD and asthma. He has published multiple research articles on the effectiveness of new treatment protocols for lung diseases, with a focus on improving quality of life for patients with chronic respiratory conditions.
