Dr. Mehmet Deniz is an esteemed general surgeon with over 17 years of experience in general surgery. He completed his medical graduation from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and went on to complete his specialization in general surgery at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in 2005.

Dr. Deniz is recognized as one of the leading general surgeons in Turkey and is known for performing the first surgery for Type 2 diabetes in Izmir. His expertise spans a wide range of surgeries, including obesity surgery, laparoscopic reflux surgery, and hernia surgeries (abdominal, inguinal). He is also highly skilled in gallbladder surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, breast surgery, and colorectal surgery.

Dr. Deniz has successfully performed over 5,000 surgeries in the fields of obesity and metabolic surgery, laparoscopic techniques, and digestive system surgeries. He is particularly proficient in microsurgical methods, and has become an expert in the laser treatment of hemorrhoids and pilonidal sinus diseases.
