Dr. Michael Phafoli

Dr. Michael Phafoli has 15 years of experience in Pediatrics, with a special focus on preventive healthcare for children. After completing his MBBS and MD in Pediatrics at the University of Lesotho, Dr. Phafoli began his career in child health, providing both medical treatment and preventive care for children from infancy through adolescence. At Queen ‘Mamohato Memorial Hospital, Dr. Phafoli is responsible for the health and well-being of children, managing both acute and chronic pediatric conditions. His role also includes educating parents and communities about the importance of vaccination, nutrition, and early childhood development. Dr. Phafoli is passionate about reducing childhood mortality and promoting healthier lifestyles among children and families in Lesotho.

Dr. Phafoli has been involved in research focused on pediatric health and preventive healthcare strategies.
