Dr. Negar Mahvashi graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch, Iran. She has been practicing as a General Practitioner since 2004, with experience in the UK, Brisbane (Mater Hospital), and Sydney.

Dr. Mahvashi is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) since 2015 and has a broad range of training, including a Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine. She offers a variety of procedures, including Implanon insertion/removal, iron infusions, spot checks, and excisional biopsies for concerned skin lesions.

She operates under a mixed billing model, with bulk billing for children under 15 years old and pension or concession card holders. These groups may incur a fee for certain procedures.

Dr. Mahvashi has been involved in research focused on general practice, particularly in chronic disease management and the impact of preventative care on long-term health outcomes. She has contributed to various studies aimed at enhancing the overall health of populations through preventative care initiatives.
