Dr. Monica Athens

Dr. Monica Athens is a skilled Mammologist and Breast Surgeon with growing experience in the treatment of breast diseases. She began her career at Klaipėda University Hospital, Women's and Children's Clinic, Breast Diseases Center in 2024, where she currently serves as a Surgeon. She has previously worked at Gargždai Hospital, providing emergency and admission services in 2023. Additionally, Dr. Athens was part of the Breast Surgery Department at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Hospital Kaunas Clinics as an assistant, and worked as an assistant at Cardiolith Clinics in Kaunas, Lithuania. She is passionate about breast cancer treatment and breast-sparing surgery. Dr. Athens continues to improve her skills by attending international conferences and scientific seminars.

Dr. Athens has participated in multiple scientific and practical conferences related to breast cancer treatment and mammology. She has gained valuable experience and knowledge on modern approaches to breast cancer, including breast-sparing treatments and innovative surgical techniques.
