Dr. Murat Tuncer is a highly respected nephrologist with over 19 years of experience in the field of nephrology and organ transplantation. After completing his medical degree at Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1992, Dr. Tuncer went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency Program at Akdeniz University School of Medicine in 1998. He further specialized in nephrology, completing his Nephrology Fellowship Program at the same institution in 2001.

Dr. Tuncer is renowned for his expertise in kidney transplantation and nephrology, including pioneering the first tissue-incompatible kidney transplant in Turkey. His groundbreaking work in organ transplantation has established him as a leader in the field, making significant contributions to improving kidney transplant outcomes and advancing surgical techniques in hepatobiliary surgery.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Tuncer has been an active member of several prestigious transplant organizations, including the Transplant Surgeon's Federation of America, the International Committee for Liver Transplant, the Transplantation Union for America, the Hepatobiliary Surgery Organization of Turkey, and the Turkish Association of Transplantation.
