Dr. Polly Chan

Dr. Polly Chan graduated from the University of Sydney in 1997 and began her medical career with an internship at Westmead Hospital. She gained significant experience during her residency at Westmead and also obtained her Diploma of Child Health during this period.

In 2004, Dr. Chan moved to the United Kingdom for further training and completed a Diploma of Dermatology at Cardiff University. She then worked as a staff-grade doctor in dermatology at the Elizabeth Hospital WHS Trust before returning to Australia in 2007.

Upon returning, Dr. Chan worked at Gateway Quayside Medical Centre for seven years before joining O’Connell St Clinic. Her practice is primarily focused on dermatology, women’s health, and antenatal care. Dr. Chan is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), which recognizes her expertise and commitment to the field of general practice.

Dr. Chan has been involved in clinical dermatology research, focusing on skin health, skin cancer prevention, and treatment options for common dermatological conditions. Her work in women’s health also includes research on preventive health measures for women at various stages of life.

She is a strong advocate for early detection of dermatological conditions, including skin cancer, and regularly participates in research collaborations to improve treatment outcomes for dermatological disorders.
