Dr. Sandra Mendel

Dr. Sandra Mendel is an experienced GP Obstetrician with over 15 years of experience since completing her MBBS degree at the University of Sydney in 2006. She began her career in general practice before further specializing in obstetrics and gynaecology and obtaining her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2010.

Dr. Mendel has worked across various hospitals and general practices, where she has provided comprehensive care to women and families. She has a strong interest in women’s health, including preconception care, antenatal care, family planning, and menopause management.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mendel is also an active Medical Educator, training General Practitioners in the Central West. She is committed to improving the quality of care and mentoring future generations of

Dr. Mendel has participated in research focused on women’s health, particularly in areas related to pregnancy care, family planning, and preventative gynaecology. She has worked on studies examining the effectiveness of various preconception care programs, antenatal education, and chronic disease management in pregnant women.

Her research interests also extend to training programs for General Practitioners in rural and regional areas, focusing on improving access to specialized healthcare services for women in underserved communities.
