Dr. Shahnawaz Malik

Dr. Shahnawaz Malik is currently serving as a Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine at District Headquarters Hospital, Okara, and is also the founder of a private clinic on Benazir Road. He formerly worked as a Resident at Mayo Hospital, Lahore in the Internal Medicine department. Known for his accurate diagnosis and management of chronic diseases, Dr. Malik brings over 12 years of experience in internal medicine and is highly respected in the medical community of Okara.

He has served as the lead researcher on the study “Hypertension Management in Semi-Urban Communities of Punjab”, published in the Pakistan Journal of Medical Sciences in 2018. He actively participates in national conferences focused on internal medicine and non-communicable diseases.

Dr. Shahnawaz Malik has contributed significantly to medical literature in internal medicine. His key publications include “Hypertension Management in Semi-Urban Communities of Punjab” published in the Pakistan Journal of Medical Sciences (2018), and “Clinical Challenges in Diagnosing Multisystem Autoimmune Disorders” in the Journal of Internal Medicine & Health (2019). He co-authored “Metabolic Syndrome Trends Among Middle-Aged Patients in Southern Punjab” in the Journal of Clinical and Preventive Medicine (2020), and independently published “Management Protocols for Type 2 Diabetes in Primary Healthcare Settings” in the South Asian Medical Review (2021). Most recently, he authored “Impact of Lifestyle Modifications on Cardiovascular Risk in High-Burden Populations”, which appeared in the International Journal of Community Health & Medicine (2023).
