Dr. Timothy Lee is a renowned Neurosurgeon with nearly four decades of clinical and surgical experience. He specializes in diagnosing and treating complex brain conditions such as brain tumors, strokes, pediatric tumors, and spine problems, including lower back and neck pain. Dr. Lee completed his medical degree with honors in both medicine and surgery from the University of Melbourne in 1981. He pursued his general surgical training in Singapore, earning his FRCS from Edinburgh in 1986.
In 1987, Dr. Lee joined the faculty at the National University of Singapore, where he later founded the Division of Neurosurgery at the National University Hospital (NUH) in 1990. He completed his neurosurgical training at Oxford, further advancing his expertise in neurosurgery. Dr. Lee is a former Head of the Neurosurgical Division at NUH, having served in this capacity until 2002, after which he transitioned to private practice. He also served as a Senior Visiting Consultant at John Hopkins Hospital Singapore, specializing in cancer treatments.
He is currently the Co-ordinator of the Mount Alvernia Brain Centre and continues to provide expert care to patients at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital, and Mount Alvernia Hospital. His extensive clinical experience is complemented by his leadership in training the next generation of neurosurgeons.
