Dr. Vaibhav B. Kasodekar is a highly experienced orthopaedic and joint replacement surgeon in Mumbai with nearly 27 years in medicine and approximately 19 years specializing in orthopaedics. After completing his MBBS in 1998 and MS Orthopaedics in 2003 at King Edward Memorial Hospital under the University of Mumbai, he obtained further credentials including DNB, FCPS, and Diploma in Orthopaedics. With fellowship training across Singapore, Canada, the UK, and Australia—including training in robotic joint replacement—he is among a select group of Indian surgeons proficient in both primary and revision knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow arthroplasty. He has performed over 2,000 joint replacement procedures and more than 1,500 arthroscopic surgeries including ACL reconstruction and rotator cuff repair. Since 2003, he has served as founder and owner of the Bone and Joint Wellness Clinic in Mahim while consulting at top-tier hospitals including S.L. Raheja, Jaslok, Lilavati, and Sushrut. He is also a respected educator, serving as visiting faculty in medical colleges and delivering multiple orthopedic CMEs and workshops. Known for his patient-centric approach, evidence-based protocols, and surgical excellence, Dr. Kasodekar is an elected member of professional bodies including the Bombay Orthopaedic Society, Maharashtra Orthopaedic Association, Indian Orthopaedic Association, Indian Society for Hip and Knee Surgeons, and Singapore Orthopaedic Association .
