Dr. Vivian Akello

Dr. Vivian Akello is an experienced Gastrointestinal Surgeon with 12+ years of expertise in performing complex gastrointestinal surgeries, including colorectal surgeries, laparoscopic procedures, and hepatobiliary surgeries. After completing her MD in Gastrointestinal Surgery in 2009, Dr. Akello has been practicing in Kampala, Uganda, providing advanced care for gastrointestinal conditions.

With 12+ years of professional experience, Dr. Akello has treated a wide variety of conditions affecting the digestive system, including inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gallbladder diseases, and colorectal cancers. She is skilled in minimally invasive surgery, offering patients quicker recovery times and improved outcomes for complex gastrointestinal disorders.
