Dr. Juan Carlos Kaski is a distinguished cardiologist with a career spanning over five decades. He is renowned for his expertise in microvascular and vasospastic angina, as well as his contributions to understanding the pathogenesis of ischaemic heart disease. As a Professor of Cardiovascular Science (Emeritus) at St George’s, University of London, he has significantly advanced the field through his research and clinical practice. Professor Kaski has authored over 600 scientific papers and 13 books on cardiovascular topics, and he holds leadership roles in several prestigious cardiology societie.
