Dr. Wolfgang Mayer

Dr. med. Wolfgang Mayer is a seasoned Trauma and Orthopedic Surgeon with over 40 years of experience. After completing his medical education at the Leopold-Franzens University in Innsbruck in 1983, he underwent specialized training in trauma surgery at the Landeskrankenhaus Feldkirch, Austria, from 1984 to 1990. He has held various positions, including Assistant Physician in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Senior Physician in Trauma Surgery, and Consultant in several medical institutions. Since 2007, Dr. Mayer has been practicing in Schaan, Liechtenstein, focusing on trauma and orthopedic surgery with a particular interest in joint surgeries.

Dr. Mayer has contributed to research in the field of trauma and orthopedic surgery, particularly in the areas of arthroscopic techniques and joint preservation. His research aims to improve surgical outcomes and enhance recovery times for patients undergoing joint-related procedures.
