Dr. Zinhle Mkhwanazi-Yende

Dr. Zinhle Mkhwanazi-Yende is a dedicated Medical Intern based in the Bhisho/East London area, with a focus on gaining expertise in surgical specialties, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology. She completed her MBChB at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2021 and is currently working as a Medical Intern at Eastern Cape Provincial Hospital, where she rotates through various specialties to further her clinical knowledge and skills. Dr. Mkhwanazi-Yende is highly committed to delivering compassionate care and improving patient outcomes, particularly in the areas of maternal health and pediatric care.

As a medical intern, Dr. Mkhwanazi-Yende has been involved in assisting with research projects related to maternal health and neonatal care. Her areas of interest include studying pregnancy complications, high-risk pregnancies, and childbirth outcomes. She has contributed to ongoing research aimed at improving care protocols in pediatrics and obstetrics in underserved areas of Eastern Cape. Dr. Mkhwanazi-Yende is eager to continue her research journey, with the goal of advancing medical practices in these critical fields.
