Kumari Rekha

Dr. Kumari Rekha has over 19 years of experience in the field of radiology. She began her career as a Radiologist at RIMS, Ranchi, specializing in diagnostic imaging techniques such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound. From 2012 to 2018, she served as a Senior Radiologist at Bokaro General Hospital, where she gained expertise in interventional radiology. Currently, she is the Head of Radiology at Bokaro Imaging Center, focusing on advanced diagnostic and therapeutic imaging solutions.

Dr. Rekha has contributed significantly to research in radiology. Her study on “Advancements in MRI Imaging for Neurological Disorders” was published in the Indian Journal of Radiology. She has also presented papers on interventional radiology techniques at national and international conferences, highlighting her expertise in minimally invasive diagnostic procedures.

Dr. Rekha has been recognized for her contributions to radiology. She received the “Excellence in Diagnostic Imaging” Award from the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association in 2018. Additionally, she was honored with the “Best Interventional Radiologist” Award by the Jharkhand Medical Society in 2021.

Dr. Kumari Rekha is the author of the book "The Art and Science of Radiology: A Modern Approach" (2020). She has published several articles in journals such as the Indian Journal of Radiology and the Journal of Interventional Imaging, focusing on advancements in imaging technology and interventional procedures.
