Dr Lampson Fan graduated from University of Cambridge (Medical degree) in 2007, followed by a DPhil in Cardiovascular Medicine at Oxford. He completed his Interventional Cardiology training in 2019 and has served as a Consultant at Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust since 2020 .

His clinical expertise spans complex coronary interventions, including calcified lesions, chronic total occlusions, and left main disease—often using advanced tools like rotational atherectomy and shockwave lithotripsy .

Academically, he focuses on microvascular and endothelial dysfunction, with robust published work and leadership in education—serving as Educational Lead for Cardiology and Medical Simulation Lead at Aston University Medical School.

Outside medicine, he enjoys snowboarding and martial arts.
