Luu Tuan Thanh

Dr. Luu Tuan Thanh has 12 years of experience in Gastroenterology, specializing in liver diseases, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), gastrointestinal cancer, and endoscopic procedures. After completing his degree at Hanoi Medical University in 2009, Dr. Thanh pursued a specialization in gastroenterology and began practicing in 2011. He has worked at Hanoi General Hospital and Vinmec International Hospital, where he has treated a wide range of conditions such as hepatitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, and gastrointestinal cancers. Dr. Thanh is particularly known for his proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography).

Dr. Thanh has been actively involved in research focused on liver diseases, particularly chronic hepatitis B and C, cirrhosis, and liver transplantation. He has also contributed to studies on the pathophysiology and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
