Professor M. Kamran Baig is an esteemed consultant cardiologist based in Nottingham. He specialises in interventional cardiologyheart failurecardiomyopathyarrhythmiacardiac CT and MRI scans, and shortness of breath.  

 

Professor Baig treats complex cardiac valve disorders with TAVI, percutaneous valve implantation, and complicated electrical cardiac disorders with implanted automatic defibrillator and cardiac re-synchronisation device therapies. He practises at Consult Health Care and the Spire Hospital, both in Nottingham, in addition to holding an honorary role as a consultant interventional cardiologist at Royal Brompton Hospital, London and Glenfield Hospital, Leicester. He has gained over 30 years' experience in interventional cardiology, both in the UK and abroad and has delivered treatments in over 30 hospitals in more than 20 countries and performed the first ever TAVI treatments in Western Saudi Arabia (2012), South Korea (2015), Singapore (2015), Pakistan (2015) and Hong Kong (2016).
