Mr Anil Prasanna is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon based in London with subspecialty interest in foot and ankle surgery who offers non surgical and surgical treatments for all aspects of foot and ankle conditions as well as sports injuries. His areas of specialism include: complex bunion surgery (hallux valgus and hammer toes); foot and ankle arthritis - fusion and replacement surgery; Achilles tendon rupture; tendonitis and tendinosis; heel pain - plantar fasciitis; adult flat foot / high arched foot treatment; arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery for cartilage defects in foot and ankle; toenail surgery; Morton’s neuroma and sports injuries in the foot and ankle - instability and ligament injuries.

Mr. Prasanna has a specific interest in the treatment of chronic ankle instability (ankle sprain), minimally invasive bunion surgery, and alternative therapies like shockwave therapy, PRP injections, and muscle releasing surgery for chronic heel pain.

Mr Prasanna qualified from Medical University Sofia in 2005 before going on to complete his Trauma and Orthopaedics specialist training. Mr Prasanna then went on to accomplish advanced fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at Stepping Hill Hospital, British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society accredited Windsor foot and ankle fellowship at Wexham Park Hospital and Post CCT foot and ankle fellowship at Lister Hospital, becoming a triple fellowship trained surgeon in foot and ankle.
