Mr Joshua Lee is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip, knee, and sports injuries. He has expertise in ACL reconstruction, joint reservation surgery, hip impingement, complex knee injuries, hip arthroscopy, and knee arthroscopy. He is based in London at OneWelbeck, HCA The Shard, and LIPS Healthcare Clinic at Battersea Power Station.
Mr Lee qualified from the University of Bristol in 1999. He then went on to complete his orthopaedic training on the North West Thames rotation. He completed his sub-specialist hip and knee surgery training on the Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at The Ottawa Hospital in Canada. He completed an additional fellowship in major trauma at St Mary’s Hospital in London before being appointed consultant orthopaedic surgeon for Barts Health NHS Trust in 2011, based at the Royal London Hospital where he served as Clinical Lead for the orthopaedics department between 2017 and 2020.
In complement to his practice, Mr Lee is an avid researcher. He has contributed to NIHR trials and was a co-investigator for HEALTH, a multi-national collaborative hip fracture trial.
