Mr Prasad Kothari is a highly esteemed consultant ENT head and neck surgeon at Spire Harpenden Hospital, One Hatfield Hospital, BMI Bishops Wood Hospital and Cobham Clinic, Luton Hosptial. He treats both adults and children. His areas of expertise include head and neck surgery, neck lumps, thyroid surgery, salivary gland disorders, paediatric ENT and sinus surgery. At the Spire, Mr Kothari works closely with a speech therapist and dietician to provide comprehensive and holistic care for all his patients. He also has a special interest in the treatment of swallowing disorders, snoring and sleep apnoea.
Mr Kothari trained in London, graduating with a medical degree from the University of London in 1998 at St Bartholomew's and Royal London Hospital. He then completed specialist training in head and neck surgery in Holland and India. He is accredited by the Specialist Advisory Committee in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and has been awarded a certificate of completion of specialist training by the training authority of the Surgical Royal College. He also dually trained in dentistry.
