Mr. Rahul Bhattacharyya is a leading consultant orthopaedic specialist knee surgeon with a national and international reputation based in Glasgow and London. His areas of expertise include sports knee injuries including ACL reconstruction (personalized to the patients’ needs), meniscus repair, cartilage repair, patella tendonitis, patella instability surgery and osteotomies to realign the knee and preserve the joint. In patients with established arthritis he specializes in partial and total knee replacements. He also offers knee joint injections including PRP, hyaluronic acid and steroids for the suitable patient.

Notably, Mr Bhattacharyya is one of the few surgeons in Scotland trained to treat meniscal deficiency with meniscal allograft transplantation and has helped set up a regional service for this procedure.
