Professor Neil Ruparelia is a leading consultant cardiologist based in London who specialises in general and interventional cardiology. His areas of expertise include chest pain, blackouts, atrial septal deviation, angioplasty,  palpitations, stroke, heart failure, and heart valve disease.

Professor Ruparelia, who consults privately at London Heart Practice, has a demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence. He holds an MBBS from University College London, with an intercalated BSc in Medical Law from the University of Manchester, and also holds an MSc in Interventional Cardiology.

Professor Ruparelia undertook six years of higher specialist cardiology training in the Oxfordshire area, and is also fellowship-trained, having accomplished two prestigious clinical fellowships at Hammersmith Hospital and Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Italy. In 2013, Professor Ruparelia’s extensive training led to a DPhil (PhD) from the University of Oxford.
