Dr. Parida has held prestigious positions throughout his illustrious career. He served as a Senior Consultant Cardiologist at KIMS Hospital, Bhubaneswar (2000-Present) and as the Head of Cardiology at SCB Medical College, Cuttack (1985-2000). He has performed thousands of successful cardiac procedures, including angioplasties and pacemaker installations, and has been instrumental in setting up advanced cardiac care units in Odisha

Dr. Parida has contributed extensively to research in cardiology. He led a study on "The Impact of Early Interventions in Acute Myocardial Infarction" (1995) and co-authored research on "Advancements in Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging" (2005).
