He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Trichur, followed by a DNB from Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), Patna, and a PDCC (Post-Doctoral Certificate Course) from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
