Alison Gilmour

Dr. Alison Gilmour has 12 years of experience in general practice, having completed her MBBS in 2011 at the University of New South Wales. After moving to Wagga Wagga in 2007 to complete her medical degree at the Wagga Clinical School, Dr. Gilmour went on to finish her medical internship at Wagga Base Hospital and then pursued her Registrar program to train as a General Practitioner. In 2020, Dr. Gilmour started practising at RFM and has since developed a strong interest in paediatrics. She is passionate about providing high-quality care to children, focusing on preventive health, early intervention, and health education. Dr. Gilmour has made Wagga her permanent home and is deeply committed to serving the local community.

Dr. Gilmour has been involved in research related to paediatrics, particularly in the areas of child development, preventive health, and the management of childhood diseases. Her research focuses on early childhood interventions, vaccination programs, and chronic conditions in children, including asthma and obesity. Dr. Gilmour is passionate about improving access to care for children in regional areas and advocates for early screenings and health education in her community.
