Carl Henman

Dr. Carl Henman has 11 years of experience in general practice, having completed his MBBS in 2010 at University of New South Wales. After graduating, Dr. Henman began his career in general practice and later specialized as a GP Obstetrician and Sonologist. His areas of expertise include providing antenatal and post-natal obstetric services, with a sub-specialty in fetal and gynaecologic ultrasound. Dr. Henman also holds a keen interest in paediatrics and has completed a Diploma in Child Health to further deepen his skills in caring for children. Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Henman is committed to teaching, holding a position in the Faculty of Women’s Health at UNSW, where he mentors students and provides medical education.

Dr. Henman has been involved in research related to obstetrics, particularly focusing on the use of ultrasound in fetal health monitoring and gynaecological conditions. His work has contributed to studies on improving prenatal care, the role of ultrasound in detecting fetal abnormalities, and paediatric healthcare. Dr. Henman also explores best practices in general practice and has contributed to research on chronic disease prevention and early childhood health interventions.
