Dr. Binesh Gurung has over 5 years of experience in the medical field. He began his career in Australia as a Resident Medical Officer at Gosford Hospital, where he gained valuable experience in a range of core specialties including Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Internal Medicine. During this time, Dr. Gurung worked in various departments, which allowed him to build a well-rounded skill set in both acute and chronic care.
In 2022, Dr. Gurung moved to Bathurst to undertake his General Practice (GP) training. He has developed a broad clinical interest in all aspects of General Practice, with particular emphasis on preventative medicine and chronic disease management. His expertise spans treating a wide range of conditions and providing health management services for patients of all ages. Dr. Gurung is also working towards gaining his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) through the Practice Experience Program.
Currently, Dr. Gurung operates his own medical services business at Russell Street Medical Centre, where he provides comprehensive general healthcare to the local community in Bathurst.
