Dr. Dayna Griffin is a dedicated General Practitioner with a comprehensive background in various medical disciplines. After completing her MBBS at the University of Sydney in 2003, she pursued additional training in obstetrics and gynaecology, child health, and psychiatric medicine, culminating in her FRACGP in 2015. Dr. Griffin has worked across multiple areas of medicine, including adult and paediatric acute care, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, general surgery, and psychiatry (both adult and child/adolescent). She is an accredited GP provider of focused psychological strategies and has undertaken extensive training in anxiety, depression, youth mental health, eating disorders, trauma-informed care, and substance use. Her therapeutic approaches include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Dr. Griffin is passionate about patient-centred care, health promotion, wellbeing, and preventive healthcare, adopting an integrative, collaborative, and multi-disciplinary approach to health.
