Dr Farah Ibraheem

Dr. Farah Ibraheem has over 12 years of experience in the medical field. She graduated from Baghdad University in 2010 and worked in various areas of medicine, including Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G), Paediatrics, and primary healthcare. After moving to Australia, she began her General Practice (GP) training in rural New South Wales (NSW), where she gained valuable experience working with patients in small communities.

In 2023, Dr. Ibraheem moved to Bathurst and continues to work as a General Practitioner. She enjoys treating a variety of patients and has a special interest in helping people manage chronic health conditions like diabetes and heart disease. Dr. Ibraheem also enjoys working in women's health and preventive care to help her patients stay healthy and avoid illness before it happens.

Dr. Ibraheem has been involved in research related to chronic disease management and preventive healthcare. She has worked on studies aimed at improving patient education and adherence to treatment plans, particularly in managing chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. Her research also extends to women’s health and paediatrics, focusing on improving outcomes for mothers and children in underserved communities.

As part of her training in General Practice, Dr. Ibraheem has contributed to studies that explore the integration of preventive medicine into rural healthcare settings, where access to specialized services may be limited. She is committed to staying informed about the latest advancements in primary healthcare to ensure her patients receive the best care possible.
