Dr Gaby Captur is a leading consultant cardiologist at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and Associate Professor at University College London (UCL), where she specialises in inherited heart conditions and advanced cardiac imaging.

 

At the Royal Free Hospital, she is the Service Lead for its Inherited Cardiac Conditions Service, caring for individuals with genetic and acquired heart muscle conditions such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy, dilated cardiomyopathy, lamin heart disease, etc. 

 

Academically, she heads the Cardiometabolic Research Department at UCL’s Lifelong Health and Ageing Unit, focusing on heart health in older adults and population studies. She also consults privately at 88 Harley Street9 Harley Street, and the Royal Free London Private Patients Unit.

 

Dr Captur is internationally acknowledged for her expertise in cardiomyopathies, genetic heart disorders, heart failure, and cardiovascular disease prevention.
