Dr Montse Gilaberte is a highly skilled consultant dermatologist based in London who specialises in the medical and surgical treatment of adult and paediatric skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer. With over 20 years’ experience, Dr Gilaberte currently sees patients at the renowned Skin Inspection Dermatology Clinic.

Dr Gilaberte qualified in Spain, completing her medical degree at la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and further, specialist dermatology postgraduate training. She later accomplished a training programme in paediatric dermatology at the award-winning St John’s Institute of Dermatology before deciding to relocate permanently to the UK in 2013, where she has practised since. At present, Dr Gilaberte-Pena also holds a consultant dermatologist post at Whipps Cross Hospital, where she provides general, paediatric and skin cancer dermatology services.

Further to her premier dermatology practice, Dr Gilaberte is the author of various publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and an expert speaker at national and international dermatology conferences. She is on the GMC’s specialist registrar for dermatology and is a member of several professional organisations as well, including The British Association of Dermatologists. As a specialist, Dr Gilaberte is highly valued for her professionalism, honesty and knowledge.
