Dr Patricia Woodford has over 35 years of medical experience since completing her MBBS in 1989. Originally from Far North Queensland, she began her career with a strong foundation in anaesthetics before expanding into family medicine and psychiatry. She joined Karalta General Practice in 1998 and has been a valued member of the team for over 25 years.
Her clinical expertise covers all areas of general practice, with a particular passion for understanding how physical and mental health interact. She is well regarded for her compassionate approach in mental health care, supporting patients through anxiety, depression, and other psychological conditions, while also providing comprehensive women’s health services. Her advanced qualifications in general practice psychiatry enable her to integrate mental health expertise seamlessly into primary care.
