Dr. Suzan Bekir has been a General Practitioner in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney for over 15 years, providing holistic care to patients with a focus on primary care and specialized medical disciplines. After completing her MBBS (Hons 1) from the University of Sydney in 2004, Dr. Bekir went on to attain her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2010.

Her practice has evolved over the years, and she has developed specific interests in allergy and ENT, men’s health and sexology, women’s health, paediatrics, and sleep-breathing disorders, particularly focusing on mouth breathing in children. Dr. Bekir is also highly skilled in laser skin treatments and cosmetic medicine, offering services such as skin cancer removals, skin biopsies, and cosmetic injectables.

Dr. Bekir has worked with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) at Tobruk Clinic, where she cared for Special Forces, further broadening her experience in military medicine. She has been a GP Trainer and has developed specialized training programs for GPs and Nurse Practitioners since 2015.

Additionally, Dr. Bekir offers focused psychological strategies for stress management, including relaxation techniques and mindfulness breathing training, and is actively involved in online patient programs for chronic disease management and lifestyle improvements.
