Dr Vivienne Ezzat is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. Her expertise lies in the treatment of patients with arrhythmia and congenital heart disease, as well as electrophysiology, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, electrocardiograms, catheter ablation, atrial fibrillation, and autonomic dysfunction.
Dr Ezzat graduated in 1998 from the University of Sheffield and undertook her training in general medicine and cardiology in Leeds. She completed her PhD in 2007 from King’s College and trained in electrophysiology at the Heart Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Hospital. In 2014, she did a fellowship in adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) electrophysiology at the esteemed Toronto General Hospital in Canada, and upon her return to the UK, she was appointed consultant at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 2015, where she is also the lead of the ACHD arrhythmia service at the Barts Heart Centre.
