Dr Waseem Bakkour is a leading consultant dermatologist and dermatological surgeon based in London. Dr Bakkour specialises in a wide range of dermatological conditions and treatments, including skin cancer diagnosis and surgery, Mohs surgery, advanced lasers, cosmetic dermatology (such as Botox and fillers) and acne treatment.
 
 With over 15 years of experience, Dr Bakkour holds a private practice at the prestigious Skin Inspection Clinic on Harley Street in central London. He also held a substantive consultant position at the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He has previously worked in Dubai, where held the position of director of dermatology at one of the largest hospitals in the region, the American Hospital. Now he is splitting his time between London and Dubai.
 
His academic journey includes earning an MD, an MSc in Health Sciences from Newcastle University, FRCP Derm UK and a certificate of completion of training in dermatology (CCT) from the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Bakkour underwent specialised training, completing an 18-month procedural dermatology fellowship at the Dermatology Centre in Manchester, focusing on advanced dermatological and reconstructive surgery, lasers, and cosmetic dermatology, accredited by the Royal College. He then gained further experience at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA.
