Dr Alexandrides holds an MD with Honours from Athens University School of Medicine, Athens, Greece (1990). Following this, he moved to the USA, where he completed his general plastic surgery residency programme at Temple University at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. He also chose to pursue further specialisation in craniofacial and microsurgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he became a fellow in 1997.
 
Following this, Dr Alexandrides honed his skills at Jackson Memorial Hospital, a renowned trauma centre in the University of Miami, known for its innovation in plastic surgery. There, he performed reconstructive and aesthetic surgeries on trauma victims, laying the foundation for his illustrious career as a plastic surgeon.
