Dr. B.R. Ramesh Rao is a seasoned nephrologist with over 44 years of experience in the field. He completed his MBBS from the University of Bombay in 1981, followed by an MD in General Medicine in 1984. He further specialized in Nephrology, obtaining a DNB from the National Board of Examinations in 1992. Dr. Rao has been actively involved in managing patients with renal failure and general nephrological disorders. He is proficient in techniques of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis and has been actively involved in the management of patients with renal disease, renal failure, and transplantation of both in- and out-patients. He is currently associated with S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate in Mahim, Holy Spirit Hospital in Andheri East, and Sanjeevani Kidney Care in Andheri East. Dr. Rao is a member of several professional organizations, including the Indian Society of Nephrology (ISN), Indian Society of Haemodialysis, Association of Medical Consultants, Indian Medical Association (IMA), and the European Dialysis and Transplant Association.
