Dr. Bruce Christie

Dr. Bruce Christie is a senior Anaesthetist with more than 27 years of experience since completing his MBBS at the University of Sydney in 1996. He obtained his fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2003, developing expertise in general anaesthesia, pain management, critical care, and perioperative medicine. Over his career, Dr. Christie has provided anaesthesia for thousands of surgical procedures, ranging from minor day surgeries to complex critical operations. He is highly regarded for his steady, precise approach in the operating theatre and his commitment to ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.

Dr. Christie has been actively involved in clinical research on enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) pathways, multimodal pain management techniques, and advancements in regional anaesthesia.
