Dr. Deas Brouwer

Dr. Deas Brouwer has 12 years of experience in Anaesthesia, specializing in pain management, pediatric anaesthesia, and critical care anaesthesia. After completing his MBBS from University of Queensland in 2007, Dr. Brouwer pursued his FRCA in 2013 and went on to earn a Master of Medicine in Anaesthesia. He has worked in various hospitals across Australia, including Royal Brisbane Hospital and St Vincent's Hospital, providing anaesthetic services for complex surgeries, including cardiac and neuro procedures. He has expertise in managing postoperative pain and intensive care unit (ICU) patients.

Dr. Brouwer has contributed to clinical research in the field of anaesthesia, focusing on pain management techniques and regional anaesthesia. His work on opioid-sparing methods in postoperative care was presented at the International Anaesthesia Congress in 2019. He is also involved in research related to anesthetic techniques for high-risk surgical patients. Dr. Brouwer has collaborated with multiple academic institutions, contributing to clinical trials aimed at improving pain relief during and after surgeries.
