Dr. Mike Bassett

Dr. Mike Bassett has 12 years of experience in anaesthesia, having completed his MBBS in 2009 from the University of Sydney and his FANZCA (Anaesthesiology) in 2017. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Bassett worked as an intern and resident at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where he gained extensive experience in general surgery, obstetrics, and anaesthesia.

Dr. Bassett specializes in general anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, pain management, obstetric anaesthesia, and cardiothoracic anaesthesia. He is highly skilled in performing spinal anaesthesia, epidural anaesthesia, and general anaesthesia for various procedures, including orthopaedic surgeries, cardiac surgeries, and obstetric procedures.

Since relocating to Wagga Wagga in 2019, Dr. Bassett has been providing comprehensive anaesthetic care to the local community. His services range from routine anaesthesia management to complex surgeries and pain management interventions.

Dr. Bassett has contributed to several anaesthesia-related research projects, particularly in pain management, regional anaesthesia techniques, and obstetric anaesthesia.
