Dr. Thant has over 25 years of medical experience, having graduated with his MBBS in 1996.  he moved to Australia in 2008, where he registered with the Medical Board of Australia. He spent several years training in various specialties before settling into general practice in Australia. He joined Coffs Coast GP Superclinic in 2015, where he continues to serve the community.

Dr. Thant’s clinical expertise includes general practice, pediatrics, and general surgery. He has a strong passion for chronic disease management, preventive care, and mental health, and he actively works on improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health care through culturally sensitive care. His approach is centered on building long-term relationships with his patients, listening to their concerns, and ensuring that they are involved in the decision-making process regarding their health.
