Dr Hailemariam Engedaw is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Bahir Dar University, CMHS. He obtained his Medical degree from Bahir Dar University with Gold Medalist honour in 2013. He got his Internal Medicine Speciality Certificate from Addis Ababa University, Black lion Hospital in December 2018 . He is serving as clinician, educator , leader, healthcare advocacy in Bahir Dar University since December 2013. , He has also served as Post graduate dean, Inpatient director and postgraduate study coordinator in the same college. He was the leader and clinician at Afilas Hospital.
He Co-founded Club 2-12 free blood donation club and served as President. He Co-founded Asrat Academic Award and serving as President. He Cofounded Afilas PMMS in 2017 and served as Board member since 2017 and president from 2019 - 2023. He is member of BDU Ethical Committee. He is Chairman of Hakim Workneh-Melaku Beyan Society Alumni.
