Kirti Kunj

Dr. Kunj has served in various capacities across Jharkhand. She began her career as a Medical Officer in the Jharkhand Health Services, where she worked in primary health centers in rural areas, providing essential medical care to underserved populations. Later, she joined a district hospital in Giridih as a Senior Medical Officer, where she managed outpatient and inpatient departments, supervised junior doctors, and conducted medical camps to raise health awareness in the community. Currently, Dr. Kunj practices at a private clinic in Giridih, offering comprehensive medical consultations and promoting preventive healthcare measures among her patients.

Dr. Kunj has shown a keen interest in community health research. She has conducted studies on the prevalence of lifestyle diseases in rural Jharkhand and has been involved in projects aimed at improving maternal and child health in the region. Her research has contributed to developing strategies for better healthcare delivery in resource-limited settings.

Dr. Kunj has been recognized for her dedication to patient care and community service. In 2010, she received the Best Medical Officer Award from the Jharkhand Health Department for her exemplary service in rural healthcare. Additionally, she was honored with the Community Health Excellence Award in 2015 for her contributions to public health initiatives in Giridih district.

Dr. Kunj has contributed to several publications in medical journals. Notably, she co-authored a paper titled "Prevalence of Hypertension and Its Risk Factors in Rural Jharkhand", published in the Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research in 2012. She has also written articles on maternal health and nutrition, which have been featured in regional health bulletins.
