Mr Eyal Schechter is a consultant ENT surgeon, treating both adult and paediatric patients. Based at Chase Lodge Hospital, he specialises in ear issues, balance and dizziness, children’s ENT, tonsillectomy, and grommet insertion.
Mr Schechter qualified from the University of Manchester in 2008. He completed basic paediatric surgical training and then undertook his speciality registrar training for otolaryngology in the East of England. He was a fellow in otology and implants at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge during the pandemic, for which he was awarded the COVID star.
Since becoming a consultant in 2021, Mr Schechter performs hundreds of procedures yearly, such as septoplasty, eardrum and hearing mechanism repairs, and mastoid surgery, and is the lead for inherited hearing loss and balance/dizziness at the Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
