Mr Jean-Pierre Jeannon is a distinguished consultant ENT (ear, nose, throat) and head and neck surgeon based in London. He is internationally renowned as a leading expert in all aspects of head and neck surgery, including head and neck cancer, voice disorders, thyroid problems, acid reflux, dysphagia, and facial paralysis.
Mr Jeannon qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1991 before pursuing higher surgical training in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. During this period, he was a clinical research associate at the University of Newcastle and later went on to undertake an advanced clinical fellowship in head and neck surgery at the University of Toronto and the Princess Margaret Hospital in Canada.
Mr Jeannon is also an appointed fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and of the College’s Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery section. He is considered as a leading expert in his field and performed the first ever double robotic cancer surgery, removing lung and throat cancers simultaneously. He regularly advises on and receives referrals of patients with highly complex cases. For a number of years, Mr Jeannon held the position of clinical director of surgical oncology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, where he continues to serve as a senior consultant ENT and head and neck surgeon.
