Mr John Richard Sainsbury is a highly experienced and revered consultant breast surgeon who specialises in breast surgery, breast reconstruction, breast implant removal, breast reduction, breast augmentation as well as breast lift/mastopexy.

Mr Sainsbury obtained an MBBS in 1977 from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne Medical School before going on to successfully complete an MD with distinction in 1986 from said medical school. He first became a practicing consultant in 1988, with his medical professional career going from strength to strength from here on after. His medical-focused curriculum includes an extensive amount of experience, including his long-held position as head of breast services at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

He also previously held positions as senior lecturer, reader and honorary consultant surgeon at Royal Free and University College Medical School London, prior to representing Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust and IOW NHS Primary Care Trust as a highly esteemed consultant breast surgeon.
