Mr Nimalan Arumainayagam is highly respected consultant urological surgeon in Woking, Chertsey, Windsor and west London. He is renowned for his expertise in prostate cancer diagnosis and benign prostate enlargement and also specialises in kidney stones, recurrent urinary tract infections, erectile dysfunction and haematuria (blood in the urine).
After qualifying in medicine from the University of Nottingham in 2000, Mr Arumainayagam underwent further training in London and Bristol. He was awarded a clinical research fellowship based at University College London Hospitals, where he formed part of a research group on minimally invasive treatment of prostate cancer. He additionally completed subspecialist training in stone surgery at Charing Cross Hospital and obtained an MD in multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging in the diagnosis of prostate cancer from University College London.
