Dr. Rajesh Malhotra is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon with over 34 years of experience. He has held several key positions at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, including:

• Senior Registrar (1989-1992)
• Assistant Professor (1992-1998)
• Associate Professor (1998-2002)
• Additional Professor (2002-2005)
• Professor (2005-2023)
• Professor & Head of Orthopedics (2016-2023)
• Chief, Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre (2017-2023)
• In-charge, COVID Hospital at AIIMS (April 2020 - June 2023)

Dr. Malhotra has a profound interest in joint replacement surgeries, particularly primary and revision total knee and hip arthroplasty. He has been involved in managing complex revision surgeries using trabecular metal implants and massive allografts. His research also encompasses the management of musculoskeletal tumors and osteoporotic conditions requiring orthopedic intervention. He has contributed to numerous publications and has been invited as an expert in several international and national task forces
